When Archlyphion (pronounced Ar-CLIFF-EE-in) was born, it was approximated to be within a million years after the explosion of the Big Bang. The sudden ripple of unstable dark energy that expanded rapidly from the universe's core formed a dense, swirling region of its own independent space and matter, which then settled into series of floating clusters. Archlyphion's Time then came into creation; much like ours, it is a sequential process of events, but it is also defined as a physical concept residing on the borders between reality and the newly constructed world.

Archlyphion is generally defined as a region of separate space that is still linked to the original universe—the True Universe—by Time. It is woven by two energies, one positive and one negative, which are said to be the most fundemental ideas of existence. It holds enigmatic qualities as it continuously grows by constantly swallowing up contents in the True Universe, bending their laws, matter, energy, and whatever else that describes them into their own. Residents there often call one of its networks a "Maze" due to the chaotic layout of the Bridges, and how it connects into different Spheres that hold an eternally suspended era.

Nothing, not even space and light itself, can ever escape from Time's borders to reach into the True Universe.
