Yellow is interesting as it's consistently been the most gender neutral colour in the series, starting as mostly men but then expanding to being the other girl colour alongside pink in many series, but still going back an forth. Power Rangers makes that even funkier by gender swapping most of the male yellow rangers to female up until the Disney era, and it most of those cases I think that was for the best
