From various BBSes back in the day of 600baud modems, to phBB forums, to website comments sections, to Mastodon and Reddit, I've developed a very low opinion of the folks who wield moderation tools. "Exercise power first and find a justification later," continues to be the modus operandi for near all moderators. It's all very cop-like.

That sort of B.S. is what I expect to see whenever I get Mod Mail. When I just saw that one of my pictures was visited by a moderator I was getting ready to put the site on blast, delete my account, salt the earth where the bookmark once stood, and slag the place at every given opportunity.

But nah. The moderation caught an aspect of the drawing I totally forgot I added and the judgement was fair.
