Here we continue with the Jawless fish series as we see many more representatives of the Conodonts. Specifically we here see illustrated the subclass Conodonti, specifically the Prioniodontida also called the "complex conodonts" specifically the family Prioniodinidae which has many genera.
The first conodonts were discovered by the Heinz Christian Pander a Russian biologist and paleontology in the area of Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 1856. So yeah they've been known for a long time.
Left to Right:
Top Row: Camptognathus, Chirodella
Second Row: Cornuramia, Dyminodina
Third Row: Falodus, Guizhoudella
Fourth Row: Gyrognathus, Idioprionodus
Bottom Row: Kamuellerella, Lagovidina
