originally uploaded elsewhere in nov 2021, this was another piece done for ion-yggdrasil of his characters ion, zephyr, and flint! he commissioned this piece to be the starting point of a cyo (choose-your-own) adventure type thing for his characters (most of what he has gotten from me has been for story stuff/his writing for these characters!)

i wasn't and still am not the most experienced with complex backgrounds, but i definitely gave it my best shot at the time here and while it took 3-4 iterations to get it right, eventually landed on something ion was happy with! it had been a nice challenge, as he always challenges me or brings me something new with his commissions, and i'm glad he had trusted me with the background and his characters again.
