Shinju's true self outside her illusion magic.
Though born a fox, she took to the form of a Maiden to keep herself hidden from her predators. Ever since she's found life easier this way and only ever shows her true self to others either when strong enough trust is established or if she doesn't have enough energy to keep the constant flow of magic going to keep the illusion up.

She's been known as a town menace for years, making towns not just her playgrounds but also her hunting grounds as many live stock had fallen prey to this impish fox. It wasn't till a skilled team of hunters were brought in to take care of their fox problem, she ending up having to flea to avoid playing her last game and find a new place to call home.

The second drawing of Shinju I've ever done, and though she is not really an active character of mine as of late, I still have quite a few other works of her yet to be finished. More will hopefully to come in the future. :3
