decided to impulsively make a new account after so many years. i used to play Ovipets religiously around the age of fourteen. i remember the only thing about it that was frustrating was that your pets can actually die, but given i am an adult no longer in grade school and can maintain regular computer access, i think i can keep on track nowadays LOL. if you also play, the user is the same as my FR, find me @afterblood! ^w^
also got back into Neopets and thank goodness my pets did NAWT die. i was gratefully surprised my months long disappearance from it didn't have disastrous effects. managed to yoink a Hissi on Hissi Day; the only goals that are left is to finally get a Varwolf and a Darigan paint brush for it 🤞 if only TNT didn't make scary cave map pieces super difficult to get grrr.

in other news i've sadly been having a pretty rough art block TBQH, but i think i'm slowly pulling myself out of it. there's been this one WIP i've been chipping away at for the past couple months because it's been giving me some pains here and there, but i really would like to finish it. i at least think maybe if i jump this hurdle i can get back to updating references for Art Fight. speaking of, very exciting to hear that the BBCode is being transitioned to HTML editing sitewide! as user and beginner friendly as BBCode is, i think this is a big improvement in terms of customization. it's been really neat watching how Art Fight's infrastructure has been improving since its change of hands. hopefully the site is perfectly functional when July hits this year!
