Hello! I am CEPHALON 7000, the robot toy computer machine extraordinaire. I'm an otter cat lobster person cartoon the other half of the time. I am a 19 year old college student from the Southwestern US aiming to be a marine bio/ecology/conservation researcher, who likes to draw colorful animal people mostly but other things too sometimes. I enjoy objects as well. I wish to contribute to the New Anthropomorphic Syncretist movement in the ways that I can. Profile is for general audiences but my nascent project Extinction which will probably be the subject of most of the stuff uploaded here revolves around difficult subject matter, primarily climate crisis and suicide. I may also upload my suggestive and/or nude works sometimes depending on how shy I end up being. All works will be flagged accordingly. Viewer discretion is advised!
Superfluous Factsheet:
- My favorite color is any shade of blue-green (teal, turquoise, whatever you are prone to call it). I also like bright yellow, and really any shade of blue or green. Blue is probably my favorite color to use in my work.
- I mostly do digital work on Procreate, and once in a blue moon on MS Paint or weirder tools, like Kidpix or the Animal Jam paint studio. My favorite medium for traditional work is acrylic paint but I generally like to experiment when I can.
- I have a fascination with computer-based (false) nostalgia, such as old web stuff and the consumer electronics of the 90's and 2000's in general. I have a neocities site I haven't updated in a while linked above.
- A handful of my favorite music artists are Flying Lotus, Candy Claws, Dream Puzzles, Animal Collective, Sweet Trip, The Avalanches, Mr. Scruff, MF DOOM, Dan Deacon, Crying, Herbie Hancock, Ween, Modest Mouse, and Xiu Xiu. List is noncomprehensive. Genrewise I like a lot of what is considered new wave punk/rock/ska, the huge landscape of what comprises electronic music (with a particular soft spot for vaporwave), jazz, acid/psych/prog rock type stuff, plunderphonics, hip hop, anything experimental or strange, etc... I like a lot of music. I wish I was any good at making it and deeply admire the people who are.
