Commission I did for my friend Bekah (@Space-Project on dA and @space--project on Sheezy art) a while back of their personification of Messier 57.

Since she asked for Messier in a chibi style, and he already has more of a condensed form as well as a simpler look, I think I was able to figure out how to draw him okay. I wasn't fully sure how to draw him at first as I wasn't sure if I wanted to draw him with his hands and sword out. If memory serves correctly, I was experimenting with some metallic pencils I've had for a long time to make sure I was working with different shades and tones of black. Also, the big poofy feather was fun.
