I drew my Gods AU kids as if they were animal villagers in Animal Crossing. I know most versions of Penelope are depicted as a bunny in animal forms (don't worry, we'll get there), though Browne specifically is fit best by a dog. Her spirit realm form is a rabbit though. I did make Browne's animal form look more like a blend between a wolf and a dog, but the only reason I did that is because I based her off a border collie. Angel is also a little bit modified since I based him off a selkirk rex cat (which I have drawn him as before). There are some special NPCs that look more like the breeds they're based on (specifically Isabelle and her brother as examples) so I think I had a pass here.

Most of the animals for everyone else was pretty straightforward minus Envya. Honestly, I was in a bit of a pickle with her since I didn't know whether to go with a gator or an ostrich (ostrich in animal crossing is more of a build). I ended up going with an ostrich, and I based Envya's look from the opal black shouldered peacock. It's quite fitting for her, even though she has more of a snake and reptile association.
