I got in the mood at some point to do some Dark Link art! Seriously, I love DL. He leads to some of the most creative fanart I've seen.
Anyway, this has given me the opportunity to dump my headcanons for him!

• He's super snarky
• LITERALLY EXISTS IN ALL THE GAMES WE JUST DONT SEE HIM BC GANON DOESN'T CREATE HIM
• But I HC that he can just manifest if Link's thoughts/emotions are negative enough
• He sees Morpha as his pet
• He just loves annoying the frick out of Link
• Occasionally pops up when Link looks at/is in front of a mirror/reflection and goes "HEY HOWDY SO I HEARD YOU'RE HAVING A HARD TIME RN HUH? - WANT ME TO MAKE IT WORSE? :D"
• He's just got a mind of his own at this point.
