Dabbling with feeling furry again, which may sound really weird or even insincere, but I can’t really rationalize wanting to have fun. Just feels like reconnecting with my authentic younger self.

If I’m gonna have a proper fursona, she's gonna be a Western Grey Kangaroo. Which was not cheesily chosen just because I’m Australian, but because we see them in the wild all the time when we visit Kangaroo Island here in South Australia.

I’m reluctantly converting to Clip Studio after using Photoshop since the age of the dinosaurs, but Clip treats my fave PS tool presets all weird. Clip seems really good for speed and efficiency of working with a ‘lineart style’, so for the last few weeks I've tried to do that instead of my usual ‘paint over everything’ approach. But...I am also suddenly anxious about appearing ‘inconsistent’ compared to the artists I’ve recently been inspired by…. Bahh. Need to shake it off and be more relaxed and just have fun, as art currently takes the backseat to more important imminent life events.
