almost always digital for my work! though with animation i try and strictly do traditional

Original concepts/characters OR fanart/canon characters?

heavily lean towards oc, but fanart/canon can be fun! even the fanart im currently insane about is strongly built with original concepts though LOL

Original fiction OR fanfiction?

im not a writer so i dont really have a good answer for this. i read fanfic on occasion? thats it tho lol

Sketch OR lineart?

sketch pretty much always. lineart i have to have a clear vision for

Coloring OR shading?

...both at once? im really fond of watercolor painting right now. the digital version of it at least lol. though i do tend to REALLY love shading and do dramatic lighting when the piece calls for it

Handwritten signature OR text signature?

neither, i dont really sign my work. if i had to i would choose text though

Shrink canvas OR add a filter before posting?

ah.. i dont really do either...

Messy art OR clean art?

messy messy messy its very rare i attempt clean art. my screenshot styled stuff and quick lineart doodles are fun on occasion but my usual style thrives with a "messier" look

Bright colors OR muted colors?

ough... it really depends. i think i lean more towards muted colors. love my natural tones

Warm colors OR cold colors?

it ALSO depends. tbh i have no idea if i lean more towards one or the other here. my favorites are blue and green though?

Graphics tablet with screen OR no screen?

with a screen, ive spoiled myself with it. i used to use one with no screen when i was really young but ever since getting a digital display i dont think i can ever go back

Humans OR nonhumans?

ummmm it's a pretty equal balance between humans and humanoids. i do love drawing critters and monsters, but i guess humans (and human-enough beasts) still compel me the most

Fur OR scales?

furrrr. scales are fine but fur (and hair for that matter) is just too enjoyable to draw and render and. really the whole process i like with it

Edgy characters OR wholesome characters?

i mean... the preference is nuance and/or somewhere in-between. but if i had to choose between these two it would be wholesome characters. while no substance is boring, wholesome characters can still be endearing to me... edgy characters without anything else? not so much

High-poly models OR low-poly models?

low-poly if it has interesting and cool stylization (like psychonauts, wind waker, etc). high-poly if the graphics are truly substantial (monster hunter: world is simply gorgeous with its models. but skyrim is lacking, u get what im sayin?)

Music OR podcasts while drawing?

it's nearly always music! specifically instrumental stuff. love the vibes, gets me really into the zone a good amount of time. sometimes i'll listen to a long youtube video though, thats as close to podcasts as i'll do. defunctland is me ole' reliable
