thought i'd post a few of my favorite pieces that i've seen this week that i think deserve more views :D please click through to see them!

honestly i dont really do warrior cats stuff nowadays but i do really really love the scenery in this fanart, and the detail on the grass... it's so vibrant!

this artist makes so many little guys its insane. i think making mc models in blockbench is underutilized TBH and from my experience isn't too hard to do. i'm glad to see these lil creatures. really charming texturework <3

really charming lines and rustic colors. it makes me think of the color palette of the average muted renaissance painting. i hope they have a cheese

this artist is so so good at emulating like, a retro 60's-ish style. really great and efficient color blocking, and the colors themselves are really vibrant - and the lines are really distinct!

the desolation concept by @khaosvibes
i am a sucker for any sort of landscape picture. this one has really good brush texture and really feels grounded. i think my favorite part is the grass in the foreground :)

fox creature by @luckyscout
i think it's a crime that this has so few views and likes. like. omg. the eye shader is immaculate and has so much depth, like a really deep chlorinated pool. the body shape is nice too, very smooth! the style reminds me of yoshitomo nara a little, but mostly just with how the eyes are shaped - not a bad thing! i really enjoy it.

(jul 2019) 3d tarwi turntable by @pepper
ugh i just. love the shape of this one. the topology is immaculate. really enjoy the shape of the body and face a lot. great, dynamic posture. really underappreciated!
that's all for this friday! i wanna try doing this more :) i wanna encourage more feature journals like this also - if you want me to add one in my next journal, or if you want to make your own, feel free - exposure for everyone!!!
friends seemed to be getting into this site so i thought i'd try it too. really enjoying the customization options, definitely feels like the essence of, like, old deviantart (pre-eclipse) and is easy to use. i'd like to use this as a new place to post art, since i've since left deviantart and don't regularly update anywhere but twitter now....
hopefully the lag gets better soon - i'm sure the admin's got enough trouble with that - but otherwise i am very happy with how the site looks right now. don't know if there is a feedback page yet, but i would love to suggest that pressing enter when typing a tag will let you type another tag immediately - it's a little tedious otherwise!
um... anyway, for those of you just tuning in or who don't know who i am - i am rowan tobias! i am a 3d/2d artist that usually just makes furries because i find humans kind of boring. i have a link to my main site (with all my contact info) on my profile. i'd like to upload more 3d stuff here eventually but i'll need to get good pictures for the stuff i've made....
i like wizards, forest creatures, tarot cards, cats (and cat genetics especially!), wolfquest (discord mod!), roguelikes, farm sims.... that sort of thing! thanks for reading!
