Went to the store with my mom last night and while checking out my mom complimented the cashier's makeup and they deadass told her they modeled it after angel dust from hazbin hotel (well...not exactly, they just said it was from a show they watched and said it was hazbin when my mom asked) anyway when i heard that i immediantly freaked the fuck out and just ran away and hid in the candy aisle until it was time to leave
I don't HATE hazbin hotel, i've never even watched it. It's just....the fact that the show was brought up IN A PUBLIC SPACE TO MY MOM gave me so much psychic damage that i just didn't know how to respond (...also i have anxiety surrounding fandoms, i was luckily on meds when that happened but they can only do so much, y'know?)
Edit: forgot to mention this but when my mom called for me after she was done, i literally ran so fast towards her that i almost smashed my face against the automatic door before it could even open lol
