Finally got day 2 done, this took way too long but school's been kicking me

Day 2's prompt was "Love Interest" and my thoughts drifted to the first character I actually did for this whole universe, which was Atiena, the one on the right. She's the daughter of Scar (lil me thought she was being original) and a character named Mwezi. She's Scar's eldest going by the cubs he had during his reign (Chumvi and Kula came before that), close in age to Nuka. While she was Scar's favourite in a way (never reaching Mheetu's or Johari's level) and was close to him, she was not at all fond of how he killed his own brother. Which is why she opted for bringing the weak and young ones to safety instead of joining the fight and defending him. When she returned, it was only to see Simba throwing Scar off Pride Rock and to the hyenas.

With a new resentment in her body and mind, she followed Zira and the rest of the fallen pride into the Outlands. Living off of scraps and puddles, nothing more or less than what the Pridelands had become over the course over her life. One good thing came from it, however, because it was in this harsh part of of her life that she met the sun to her moon. Jua was a fairly young rogue, around her age as far as she could tell. She'd heard stories of what rogues were like, but meeting Jua was entirely different.
