One of my Rain World OCs. I drew these around the point I was trying to figure out how to draw their limbs and gliding membrane better by looking at photos of real animals with the same build. Usually I don't finish practices/studies to any level of polish beyond a sketch but I enjoyed doing it here, I should really try it more often (I'd probably have a LOT more finished art I could post if I did...)

Aerialist is a purposed slugcat designed to be able to scale and descend from great heights quickly and safely. They're capable of powerful acrobatic leaps, clinging to walls, and using their gliding membrane to control their speed and direction as they fall. They're extremely lightweight and nimble, but not very strong, and on wide open ground and in water their greatest asset can instead slow them down and leave them vulnerable.
