Yesterday we celebrated the Epiphany, the visit of the Magi, in Spain. Similar to what's done in Christmas, kids receive gifts from the Magi. I'm not a kid anymore so they didn't get me any presents ― but my brother did! So now I have a new Wacom Intuos to play around with. :)

So these drawings/paintings I'm posting today are not necessarily good or bad because I focused more on getting the hang of the pad than on the result. Though I will say I find it particularly hard to color shapes in this medium. 🥲

The pad is quite convenient by the way. I thought it would take some time and effort to get used to a screenless tablet, since you need to look at your laptop's screen while placing the stylus on a completely separate spot in space. But I found it quite intuitive!, maybe thanks to the fact that I have been drawing with a mouse for a long time, which is in a way kinda similar to this.
