Yep, you saw that right!!! Sonic Unleashed is finally playable on PC after a decade of waiting, FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!
Well... not officially by SEGA, because the team behind this port who worked so hard to make it to PC as possible, also known as "Unleashed Recompiled", which was heavily inspired by N64 n' Zelda '64: Recompiled that uses Xenon/Xenos Recomp to dump it off from Xbox 360's code natively to C++ for Windows, Linux and Steam Users to play. That's right, with the Recomp Project finally came to fruition, you can finally play Sonic Unleashed on your Computer and your Steam Deck at the same time, so you can have fun boostin' and combat in stages or follow the story to achieve!
BUT... you need to have an Xbox 360 Console, it's Hard Drive (+plus Transfer Cable) and the Retail Copy or Digital Copy of the game (JP version isn't supported for this) in order to play Sonic Unleashed on your Computer n' Steam Deck legally, if you don't have any of these, then... you're on your own buddy.
With Unleashed out on PC, we can also use Mods to tweak the gameplay and characters to improve the game smooth like butter, and yeah, like with Generations you can also play different characters modded like Shadow, Surge, Metal Sonic, Amy, Trans Fem Sonic, even Professor Pickle, like... goddamn! this game is gonna go wild with mods n' stuff! But one thing that's missing from Unleashed..... is the E3 Beta mod, look... i LOVE the E3 Beta of Unleashed after all the trailers i've watched and leaks, previews, etc. that's still in my head that why didn't that build stay in the final game and i thought the modders could top it off to tweak up the LOD, Sonic's Model and the UI, why haven't we got this entirely for Unleashed yet??? it's been years since i wanna see this make a complete, if that happens... then i wanna play the hell out of the E3 Beta Modded on top of it like it's E3 2008!
