My first two completed tablet weaving projects <3

The first trim (green and red) dates back to the Iron Age in Finland. I used the same brown colored thread to attach the trim using a running backstitch. It is sewn onto the bottom hem of a linen tunic. Finished 18 February 2024, approx. 3 yards in length.

The second trim (blue and red) is a modern reversible pattern. Although it may look more complicated, it was the easier of the two. I still haven't decided what I will use this trim for, I just needed something for my hands to do. For now, it sits patiently in my fiber basket 💚 Finished 10 May 2024, just under 5 yards in length.
