Gonna be a fairly short one this time - I've just come back from holiday, then immediately moved into a new house on the same day, and now 2 days later I'm back at work (at my real job, not this one), and now I'm writing this at 9pm, slightly sleep deprived :) I'm ok though, here's a holiday photo:
Milestones!
We are approaching 10k users! I just wanna thank all of you on behalf of all of us at the Sheezy Team for making the community what it is! No spoilers, but we have exciting things in the works (unrelated to new site features) that we should be able to show off in the coming weeks/months!
With the site growing, we understand that more and more of you may not know where to find certain things - or are just unaware of all the cool bonus content we have offsite ;)
For that reason, I'd like to point you in the direction of our Wiki! Go have a lil poke around, see what you can find!
Subscription Issues
There are still ongoing issues with both Paypal and Patreon, unfortunately both issues are not on our end. While we continue to work on getting our own on-site subscription service set up, we encourage you to use Kofi if you wish to support us - still seems to be working pretty well over there!
Please continue to contact us if you're having issues with your subscription - Exli has been working tirelessly to make sure everyone's money and perks are in the right places!

Resources Drive!
I'll admit I've neglected adding to this since the last update, so instead of showing what's new, I wanted to highlight a subsection of what there is to offer:
Bases!
An admittedly controversial resource, but here at Sheezy we are all about supporting artists of any skill level, and providing them with ethical tools to further their abilities (though bases can be fun for anyone to use!). For this reason, I'd love to spotlight the Free to Use bases made by people right here on Sheezy!
If/when using any of these bases, please be sure to check the original artists terms of use. Some artists have a donation page linked too if you can spare a few coins!

Bonus News
There is technically a new award out, but only given to staff members as a way of tricking encouraging them to use our new task organisation software. Dax is apparently going for the record of longest time without getting the award, so if you see them around the site please tell them how disappointed I am with them.

Not much to report from the team since our last update, other than Ry has still not stopped exploding - we might have to call a specialist for him at this rate. But, there is something both the team and you guys have been hyped about....
Artfight!
If you don't know by now, Artfight is an annual competition between artists drawing each other's characters to get points! It's super fun and a great way to make new friends and brighten someone's day! You may have seen that our monthly challenge is themed around the Artfight teams - you don't have to be a part of Artfight to participate in the challenge, but we recommend you do, just for fun!

Between now and the next community update, I want to find Attacks to feature in the next post! Leave a comment if you want to submit an art!

Another thing I want to feature in these posts is Sheemz fanart by you guys, and this week we're starting off strong with this post by Snaxtronaut!!! I can't stress how much I love this, Sheemz has such Luigi energy, and the artstyle itself is so tasty...the subtlety of the coloured lines...the colour choices...it's so nice to look at. Go give Snacks a like and/or a follow, he deserves it!!

Announcement
Those of you in the Discord might already know, but for those who don't - we see you guys getting frustrated about your subscriptions not renewing, and believe me, we're as annoyed as you are! This is due to a Patreon issue where the website isn't sending through subscription data to us, and unfortunately since it's not on our end, there's not much we can do to resolve it other than fixing subs manually. Our dev team is working to try and implement a locally hosted subscription system to avoid these issues with third-party sites, but for now please don't be afraid to send us an email or a support ticket in the Discord if you need your subscription fixed!

It's been a busy few weeks for the whole team, what with Annecy and Ry exploding every few days, but we're all excited to get back into building up both the website and our community!
To begin with, you may have noticed I renamed my Merch Updates to Community Updates - While the team has worked so hard in creating new merch designs, we have enough up on the Redbubble right now! From here-on out, I want to use my share of the news posts to inform you of all the cool goings-on in our community :)
Commissions!
Something we as a team want to get in the habit of doing is commissioning you guys for art, whether it be for awards, social media posts, or just for fun! We have just received our first commission - this adorable drawing of Sheemz, done by Insidejob!
Resources!
My own personal project, the Sheezy Community Resources Masterlist! The drive is a little empty right now, but I want to collate a list of free to use assets made by Sheezy users (with permission, of course!), like this blinkie made by Andreus!
