Rules & Ratings Updates
unfold_more

Hello everyone! We hope you are having a wonderful September as we usher in the autumn season!

Today we write this announcement to let you know about our incoming nudity rule changes!

Our team has spent time observing, discussing, and taking in your feedback- and we realize our nudity rules must become simpler and more consistently applicable across a wide variety of artistic situations.

Our most recent set of nudity rules requires #PartialNudity and #FullNudity to be used for all partially or fully nude characters with unclothed torsos with no obstructions to skin such as fur or scales. Upon review, we believe this ruleset can be interpreted quite subjectively and can lend to confusion and an uneven application of the rule and we would like to take steps to improve it!

Starting today (insert date here), our partial nudity and full nudity tags will be merged into one #Nudity tag and will be defined as follows!

Nudity - Content containing exposed or unclothed humanoid nipples.

The below image contains a visual tagging guide that is featured in our rules page!

This means that regardless of if your character is humanoid or anthropomorphic, tagging for nudity will only be required if the character is depicted with exposed humanoid nipples and is no longer dependent on the level of skin exposure.

Implementation

If your artworks already include the #PartialNudity or #FullNudity tags, worry not! The new tag will be automatically applied to your works.

For uploads that did not previously require the nudity tags (such as characters covered in fur, scales, or other similar obstructions to skin that still included humanoid nipples), please include this addition to your works at your earliest convenience!

If your upload no longer requires the nudity tag under these changes, please feel free to remove the tags as necessary. Under the circumstances that your ability to edit tags on relevant posts has been locked by a moderator, please reply to the existing modmails or make an edit to the post so that it may be sent back to our moderation team for manual review!

Our hope is that this rule change streamlines the tagging process for users and staff alike, leading to a much more predictable and easily applicable nudity tagging system! As always, please let us know what you think!

Keep it Sheezy, everybody, and have a wonderful October!

Gone are the days of users having to remember what needs to be tagged or what maturity rating it has to be in! Our new uploader does it for you!

Just select the tags that apply to your work and if any rating changes must be made, it will be done automatically!

Rules and Tag Adjustments Have Been Made!

Over the last few days our team has been chipping away at our Rules and Ratings! We've made some pretty significant changes for you to review- so let's jump into it!

  • Our Rules Page has been simplified as well as adjusted to group our policies by subject rather than maturity rating! All information regarding required tags and what might belong in what rating will now be under a relavent header so you can review all of the relevent information in one place! Take a look!

  • Say goodbye to the Nipples tag! We have officially merged nipples with our nudity tags and updated our nudity graphics to reflect the change. The end of an era πŸ’–

  • Speaking of nudity, we've split our existing Nudity tag into two! #PartialNudity and #FullNudity will allow you to more accurately describe your content.

  • We have expanded the level of gore we allow in the General rating! All gore that was previously locked to Mature is now allowed in General, and gore previously locked to Explicit is now allowed in Mature!

  • If you are uncomfortable with what was previously Mature Gore, worry not! We have split our Gore tags into three separate tags that follow the same stipulations as before: #Gore, #ModerateGore, and #HeavyGore. For more information review our Gore & Violence Policies!

  • Our Sexual Content tags are also being split into three with each tag enforcing each Maturity Rating. Review our Suggestive & Sexual Content Policies Here!

  • To assist in tagging heavy substance consumption, we have added three useful tags! #Inebriation, #Drunk, and #High!
Alongside these substance tags, we have also added #impliedsubstances! This tag is to be used when characters discuss substances without depicting a substance and its consumption!

  • "Sensitive Topics" has become it's own tag category in our UI! Underneath it we have included several common sensitive topics for your ease of tagging. To see a list of them, check out our Content Categorization Tags on our Rules page!

You may notice some alterations being made to your posts in the coming days that reflect these changes. If you'd like to help out, we encourage you to go back through your posts to reflect these Policy and Tag adjustments! If you are unable to change or remove a tag, feel free to edit your post to throw it back into our Moderation Queue and we'll sort you out according to our new standards!

Hello everyone!

Before we transition into allowing new registration batches, we want to get another round of feedback on our Rules and Ratings so we can lead with our best foot forward! Have critique or ideas for ways we can improve? Let us know as much or as little as you'd like!

Poll Here!

Additional changes to our tagging policy!

  • Horror and bodyhorror are moving to recommended tags.
