Hello everyone!

Before we transition into allowing new registration batches, we want to get another round of feedback on our Rules and Ratings so we can lead with our best foot forward! Have critique or ideas for ways we can improve? Let us know as much or as little as you'd like!

Poll Here!

Can we also get clearer distinctions between the ratings categories? It takes me so long to find the rules regarding 16+ mature content as an example because it has an easily missable header. A simple line divider would go a long way.

Under label "Site Rules"

4th bullet point;
On harassing, maybe this should not be limited to harassment of other user. Maybe it should also apply to similar actions aimed at people not active on the site. Replacing "other users" with "others" could work.
Maybe there could be something general about "hate speech"-material. The definition of what that would contain might be tricky though.

last bullet point;
..."punitive measures"... I would suggest deleting the word "punitive". Don't think in terms of punishment. What you can do are restrictions. If you don't think "measures" is enough on it's own, "restrictive measures" might work.
In the bullet point there is a mention of "persona account". I have found no information on what this is in the context of this site.

The paragraph after the bullet points "While staff does not monitor ....";
I would suggest to remove this paragraph. It does not go well with the "respecting privacy policy" declared in the terms, as this would mean investigating a users private information, outside of what is necessary for managing the site. There could also be legal aspects of doing that kind of investigation.
This paragraph could also initiate persons to report other users private information for dubious reasons, that could even be harassment.
If you want to say that you can restrict access to the site for other reasons at your discretion, you already have text to that end in "terms". If you want to stress that here to you could repeat that text in "rules" as well.

"Your access to and use of the site may be revoked at any time at the discretion of our administrative or moderation teams.
We reserve the right to remove any user submitted content from the site at any time for any reason."

Agreed. We’ve made some tweaks in line with your suggestions!

I agree, plus one on this. It's a very bad look, and when I mentioned that this site was reopening on tumblr a couple days ago that was the paragraph in the TOS that everyone had a problem with. It was a deal breaker for a bunch of people. It's too vague and weird, and could lead to harassment and brigading.
