since Birtle is technological advanced with it's magic, i thought a wizard tower look for it's buildings would compliment it!! the super tall look also fits with most of their citizens being flighted. their use of stained glass in common buildings as opposed to specialized ones (like churches or palaces) reflects their advanced technology as well since they naturally have a lot of craftsmen
