So I’m actually so happy with how my little clay guys came out that I want to make more things with clay!!
I asked my mom if she wanted me to make a flower pot since she likes to buy fake plants and she said I could so I’m thinking about that plus I was planning to do a dinosaur pot or trinket holder 4 myself as well
I also want to make a sculpture of one of my OCs, but I’m a bit nervous to do that since it would be a big step from what I just made so idk we’ll see if I commit to that
I guess I can add these to my future projects list
I actually did more doodling yesterday so that’s why I’m suddenly motivated to do stuff now lol
I’m so glad I decided not to start on that papercraft cuz ever since daylight savings time started I’ve been so discombobulated, feeling soooo damn tired and not wanting to do anything
I probably just gotta get use to the time change, but fuuuuuck
But I’ve been listening to twenty one pilots today and now I kinda wanna doodle stuff so we’ll see if I do it or not lol
Now that I’m finally done with my clay guys I can actually start planning 4 that microraptor papercraft project, the plan is to make a scene with a microraptor perched on a tree and have it be made entirely out of pieces of construction paper minus the back which I will use cardstock to reinforce it
Right now though I wanna take a small break so I don’t go rushing in and possibly burning out before I’m able to finish
I also have more things planned like using the rest of my clay up before it becomes a brick and I have some ideas, both dinosaur and non-dinosaur ideas…
Y’all also might be seeing some more dino OCs soon cuz I’m thinking of starting on references sheets before art fight sneaks up on me and I be looking crazy trying to finished them all in like a day lol, I have a bunch of dinos so I think it’s better to start sooner than later
I’ve decided to put the new sketchbook on the back burner 4 now since I still have a smaller sketchbook that’s not full yet and a journal that I’ve dedicated to dinosaurs/JP that’s also not full yet so I think I’m good 4 a little while longer before I really need to get a new one
I took a nap, ate dinner, and decided that I cannot let these posca markers win and started back painting on them
I made a lot of progress and I'll probably be able to post them tomorrow!!

Guys I am struggling so bad to paint these clay sculptures, NO MORE POSCAS 4 THE REST OF THIS PROJECT FUUUUCKK
I used my posca pens twice on the spino sculpture and both times the pens just exploded out paint, I literally got pink paint on my pants and messed up what I was doing so I got so frustrated I put all my paint away
I think they’re doing that because I barely use them, but fuckkkk UGGGGGHH
I’m about to say fuck it and start on my paper craft and come back to this later 💔
