I haven't done something like this in a long time and it looked fun so I decided to do it, I'll be answering these about Tye since he is my main sona and represents this account! (might do this again over on main, but idk...I'll think about it...)

1. Why did you create this character or if you bought them/a design, what drew you to them? Any particular reason, if you remember? What motivated or inspired you, or what about them made you go, 'I want to have/buy/trade for them'?

I created Tye cuz at the time I needed a new fursona and none of the ones I previously had were sticking, I was inspired by my reignited interest in dinosaurs especially raptors and my sudden, deep connection to Utahraptors.

2. If you designed them yourself, even a bit or partially, does or did the resulting design or idea match your initial vision? Do you think since you made them, if they have changed, that they've changed and developed for the better, or worse? (this can be a 'creative process' answer or in the context of their actual lore/story, if applicable)

I designed him myself which I'm very proud of given that I struggled a lot with making anthro designs, he was a constant work in progress before I settled on his first solid design which at the time I liked, but looking back now....his first design was... um not great lol so I think he definitely changed for the better!

3. What's the absolute best change you've made in your opinion, and something you're still working out or want to improve on/change about them? This can be about anything.

His "hair", before what they currently have it was honestly a bit of a hassle to draw it right, but once I switched it to their current "hair spikes" it became much more fun and easier to draw them.
As for wanting to change anything, nothing much as I think they're perfect rn, but I do plan to make their tail less stylized and more like a actual raptor tail (same goes for most of my raptor OCs lol)

4. When did you create this character, if you can remember? Did anything significant happen around this time?

I created him on November 3rd, 2021 based on the first drawing I made and the date I made his Toyhouse profile and I celebrate it every year as I also associate the date with when I really got back into dinosaurs! Around this time I had moved into a apartment with my friends and I created him just a few weeks before we all decided to jump ship and go back home.

5. If something significant did happen, did that have anything to do with or influence their creation? Was it positive? Negative? Neutral?

I wouldn't say it had an impact on Tye's creation, he remained unchanged until 2023 when I started playing a roblox game called Griffin's Destiny. This game had it's grip on me and I was playing it HEAVILY, I made Tye as my first "griffin" and since they didn't have a style that matched his current design I put hair spikes on him and from that point on I was taking whatever changes I did to his in-game avatar and putting it on his actual design until he became what he is now!

6. What traits, as a character, do you share with them as their creator, be it fully or partially or traits you developed for them if they were say, a purchased design?

Since they are one of my sonas they do share traits with me which is a lot and I don't feel like listing them all lol

7. Are these shared traits deliberate, or did you sort of project slightly, and then slam your foot on the gas without meaning to? Or did you go the opposite route, and make them nothing like you for a good reason?

They are deliberate, but Tye is also suppose to represent a more idealistic version of me, he's a lot quicker to warm up to people, a lot more open about his interests, sillier and goofier in general.

8. What's a funny meme or joke that always makes you think of them, and why?

Had to think a bit on this one cuz soooo many things remind me of him, but obviously any funny dinosaur meme that pops up in my feed reminds me of him especially if any raptors are involved.

9. Do you think you and your character would get along in real life? Why? Why not? Would you want to meet them?

YES!! cuz we are very similar and YES!! I would like to meet them so we can play Minecraft all day.

10. Talk about your favourite thing about your character, just ever. Maybe it's a personality trait, or design aspect, or a defining moment in their story... Go wild!

I love that Tye exists!! If I haven't made Tye, this account and what I do now wouldn't exist like none of it.
It was thanks to him that I kept my interest in dinosaurs and came back into the furry scene, though I don't really draw him as much which is fair given I was fixated on him and could barely get myself to draw anything else for 4 years straight (it was both great and awful lol), he is still very much around just chilling in my head.
