Posted a painting I finished up on my main, linking it here cuz I'm super happy with how it came out so I wanted peeps who follow me here to see it too :3
This is the first time I painted one of my OCs specifically one of my non-dino OCs, so it was a nice change of pace from my usual stuff and I hope to make more!
I’ve been saying 4ver that I need to clear out some old books from my bookshelf and donate them to the library so I can make room 4 the books are actually want to read (Raptor Red, the original Jurassic Park books, Summer King Chronicles, just to name a few) and 4 some books that I’ve recently gotten that are just laying around randomly in my room cuz getting back into reading physical books is something I’ve been wanting to do!
See my room is very small like my bed is a foot or less away from my desk so it can be a hassle to organize it in a way that I like cuz when I take stuff down to put new stuff up I have no where to put the crap I just took down like my room is such a mess 💔
I have things I want to display still in boxes cuz I just…don’t know where to put them
I have old paintings I did when I took talented art in school still hanging up and I’ve been thinking of getting rid of them so I can hang my new paintings up cuz they’re all sitting in a tiny ass bin rn, but I honestly can’t get myself to do so especially not the massive one I have hanging over my dresser (if I can get a good pic of it I’ll show you guys) cuz it’s a personal piece and looking at fills me with joy so if I do decide to sell/get rid of them I will definitely be keeping that one
I’ve also been wanting to redo my pin board cuz it is also a mess lol, my pin collection is starting to spread out more on the board so my badges are starting to cover my pins up which is annoying the hell out of me so I’ve been wanting to just store my badges away (most of them are outdated anyways) and rearrange things so my pins can still be seen
I want to make my pin board nice and be more me, if that makes sense so I’ve been wanting to decorate it with like string lights or something and make it dinosaur themed, but I’m honestly not sure cuz not everything on the board will be dinosaurs so I’m kinda stuck on what to do with it rn
Idk just wanted to yap about this since it was on my mind, I envy people who have the space to actually make their rooms nice and feel well like their room
I probably just need to find a way to utilize the space I have, but it’s hard 🥲
Yall know how you can see all the people you follow’s artwork in your feed right so I was confused that while I could see the art I couldn’t see the journals…
So I thought “hmm maybe I’m glossing over it or it’s a feature coming in the rebuild”
Today while I was messing around with my feeds I see that I actually CAN make a feed 4 only journals which is awesome so now I can conveniently read them cuz before this I was going on every profile individually just to check if someone posted a new one lol
While I wish that a journal feed is just there by default like the rest of them, I’m glad I finally found out that I could make a feed 4 it cuz I love reading journals, keep on yapping ❤️
Either a bunch of people just joined or were visiting the site earlier cuz I could not reach sheezy 4 over an hour lol
Anyways I’m happy to have my entry 4 sprout fight finished, one project finished and now a gazillion to go!!!
We went out today (had a doctors appointment) and I decided to get more markers instead of clay since it was the cheaper option rn, but I should be able to get the clay next month
I wanted the bigger markers since last time I got the fine liners, my mom said I already have so many markers and stuff at home and honestly she isn’t wrong
I am a art supply hoarder 💔 and I honestly wish I knew someone or some place nearby I could donate some of this stuff to since I have things like oil pastels and a whole watercoloring kit that I haven’t touched in years
I also have my Ohuhu markers that I bought some years ago and I was using them 4 badge work, but I haven’t been making badges lately and I want to start using them again
It’s just lately doodling and coloring with like crayola markers has been so therapeutic to me to the point I’ve been wanting to buy some more crayons and color pencils too idk why cuz I could just use my alcohol markers in a similar way, but something about doing it what these specific markers just feels nice
Also been looking to get coloring books specifically dinosaur ones and I found one at the store, but it looks like it might be AI generated so I didn’t get it like when I looked up dinosaur coloring books before so many of them were full of slop
So far I’ve only been able to find like 3 I like that are made by an actual artist, so if yall know of anymore please share them I just want a nice coloring book 😭
