Repost from October 2011. I'd taken an elective art class for college earlier in the year, and this was one of the pictures that resulted from it.

This was the best of a couple of still life pastel-based pictures made for that art class. I've always been pretty pleased with how it turned out, but my teacher kept claiming I was using too much white and not enough shading. I dunno, I was just drawing what I saw.

This was also the last time I really worked with pastels, as it just wasn't really a medium that appealed all that much to me.
