Ballpoint pen on A2 paper

I was on the mood for some more pixel art so I decided to grab my ballpoint pen collection and put it to use. Some aching wrists and many many hours later: the big boy!
HGSS has many great sprites, including the best one of Tyranitar. I happened to have a lot of healthy green ballpoints so it was a good choice. The lively surface of the ballpoint scribbles gives a lot of life to normally digitally made pixel art. Ballpoint pen ink also has good light resistance, so even though I've had this piece on my door since it was finished, it still looks as fresh as ever.
