Mentioned in a couple of comments how the saiyans in my headworld are a bit different from canon. Other than the actually important species history and other lore, the visual difference from monkeys to mustelids (or "muscelids" as my friend cleverly pointed out) shows up most in their full moon transformation.
The amrija is similarly big and uncontrollable, but unfortunately doesn't shoot big lasers out of its mouth.
