I can't believe I made that closer to my birth than now. 2008 was just 5 years ago, right? Jeez.
I remember being extremely proud of that piece when I finished it. It's still a highlight from my pre-2010 era. But you gotta admit it's showing its age in every aspect of it. The lineart, the coloring, the anatomy, all of it. So I wanted to revisit it and see how I've improved.

This was also a proper tryout for my markers+pencils technique and I really like the result. I managed to get a vibrant surface out of a flat base color and even got some highlights to show. Yay me!
