Oh look, Leicia, my oldest planet project!
According to my calculations, if Leicia's rotation speed was the same as in Earth its gravity would be 7.86 times higher. That would cause a lot of problems with the kind of environment the planet has, so to balance that out I had to accelerate Leicia's rotation speed so that centrifugal force increases. It's a lot bigger planet though, so isn't the rotation speed in the surface already higher than it is near the core? So it should decrease gravity, right?
I'm not an astrophysicist and things don't have to make perfect sense. Leicia is first of all too big to be an iron core planet in real life. But here in my business we ignore reality when it's inconvenient. (cue the CSI Miami opening sequence)
I should draw more of its biomes and fauna. Leicia is a big planet so it has some tremendous megafauna on it, and due to its erratic seasonal cycles and drastic climate there are barely any permanent inhabitants besides the native animals. Just a single "city" which acts as a main hub during the warm seasons, and Nicole's place. Mayjin headquarters used to be in Leicia's orbit but it's long gone.
Anyways, I've had the interest to return to this map and improve it, but my luck has it that the original .psd file is lost. 😭 So all I have is the flat, shrunk down version meant for publishing. I'd have to start from scratch with everything. It's just not worth it honestly. What Leicia's map looks like is not very important in the long run anyway, just another time consuming pet project hehee...
