Mini ref for my trainersona! This is Aryn, Johto born shy trans guy who travelled around with his best friends and settled in Galar! (Shipped with Raihan and Sonia teehee)
As a young trainer he set out on a journey, with his first partner Wataru (affectionately nicknamed Wani) the Totodile! He was never the most skilled trainer, only really battling wild pokemon that attacked them during their travels between towns. After his poor training cost the life of his second pokemon (a rescued dratini from the Game Corner) he was too ashamed to keep aiming to be a top trainer, and decided his real calling would be taking care of pokemon instead!
In Galar, between helping his friends doing research on dynamax dens and advertising the Gym Challenges, he got himself a side job in a Galarian Daycare, though when working together with gym leaders and the champion, plus the research works he ended up getting quite close to Raihan (and later Sonia)... Wink wink.

In the future, Aryn managed to open his own daycare in Wyndon, where he, Raihan (now husband) and their pokemon work together to shelter abandoned/disabled pokemon and rehome some of them, plus any other babies that could use being adopted by a good new trainer!
