Why aren't any of the brushes tapering? I'm on Linux and I'm starting to think that's why??? I'd like to get my pen and pencil brushes tapered if at all possible. More info here with pictures

Hi I was gonna do one of these last month but procrastinated and got hyperfocused on a game whoops anyway here you go since I still like these. There's a question at the end
Art and general ramble!
I'm using a new art program now since I started dual booting with Linux late December, and fully switched last month. Medibang isn't compatible so rip me T_T I'd use Firealpaca, but I see these weird lines on the canvas when I draw, plus no dark mode kills my eyes
I've been having some fun messing with Krita and Paintstorm Studio though. Krita's UI is just not for me though. Way too many nitpicks about it, but it was good to learn it, and I did make a piece using it! It wasn't too hard to learn, though it took a bit to customize it the way I want. Good alternative if I need to switch again
Paintstorm is really nice and I was able to pick it up pretty quick since it reminds me of Medibang. I got a few nitpicks, but they're a lot easier to deal with than Krita's. Though the file manager is absolutely terrible T_T So if art looks wonky for awhile that's why. Plus I'm not really sure where I wanna go art wise. Right now, I'm just trying to enjoy drawing like I use to. I don't have an art goal this year, so we'll just have to see what I draw. Due to learning art programs, I haven't made any progress on new OC refs like I planned. I gotta start that eventually. I'll be working on rearranging B-Days soon too.
Pets!
Mango's doing the same as he has been. Toes still curling under that paw. I'm still doing his stretches so I'm still hoping he'll walk normally again. Other than that, he's still a huge cuddlebug! It's adorable when he and Bella (Mom's cat) cuddle on my bed! Maggie's doing well. She's still not speeding up on her leg though, so I got to take her out in the cold on the leash. It did snow twice though so that was awesome! She liked it I think. I'm not looking forward to spring though. I really don't like being outside when it's dark because I can't see where the spiders and webs are T_T But it would mean it'd be warm enough for normal walks instead of just taking her out in the yard, so that'll be nice! Hopefully her leg will be fully healed before summer
And on the the serious question. Blue's my fav color and I really wanted to make a blue site work, but idk I don't think it's easy on the eyes? Not mine at least. Brown seems like a better option. Idk how to make a theme switcher and it looks a bit complex for me at my coding level, so for now I'd like to pick one and save the hex codes of the others for when I feel more confident about coding a theme switcher. Soooo
Which theme do you guys like better? Blue like what it is currently, or brown like my Neospring?
