- How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
I believe I’ve had like, three main ones sort of? My first ever online account was on animal jam and my account name was “Sweeitebot” which was the name of the mlp fan character Sweetiebot, except I spelt their name wrong because I’m dyslexia pilled.
I think my first “official” username (outside of aj) was “Beta Artist” which I used for like a year when I was 13 and then changed it to Twig The Fox when I was 14.
- What does your current username mean?
Twig is the name of my old Fursona (which I don’t fully identify with anymore but the name has stuck so nonetheless) I go by Twiggie here but on art fight I go by Twigzon, both usernames are based on nicknames that were given to me by my friends! ^w^
- What is the first program you used to make digital art?
I think technically it was ms paint on the school computers, then it was animal jam and eventually ibis paint. Currently I use Procreate for all of my digital projects.
- Where did you first start posting your art?
I guess,, technically also animal jam? But my first actual social media was amino (rip)
- What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
Ugh, dear god idek, lol, could’ve either been mlp, pokemon or Pudsy Bear (I think only British people will recognise that name maybe.)
- Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
My first ever persona was a ponysona, who I assume just went by my irl name. I re designed her in December 2024, and had given her a personality similar to how I was as a kid.
Her actual design from when I was a kid was pretty weird. Confusing and baffling colour choices and powers that she could only access in oddly specific circumstances (this was me trying to convince others that they weren’t a Mary sue lmfao). I remember in her old design her tail had a neon blue and red split dye thing going on and it just didn’t help harmonise the overall colour palette at all. 💀
- Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
My persona/Fursona are still a work in progress. I do have a sort of persona called Zomb however I haven’t posted any artwork of them here yet because I’m still not very confident in my human artworks. Twig and sparkle Twig are more like mascots to me, they have their own personalities and stories that are based off of past versions of who I used to be.
- What/who inspired you to be an artist?
Probably the cartoons I watched at the time, as well as old mlp animations, specifically a lot of BronyDanceParty’s stuff made me wanna created my first ever ponysona.
- What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
The program I use is Procreate, I love using the dry ink brush to sketch and doodle, and I use the mercury pen to ink my drawings. I also like to have a cup of tea near by to sip on and a long YouTube video to listen to in the background. C:
