Saw some of these and I thought it’d be fun ^^
BASICS:
name/nickname: Twig/twiggy/twigzon
pronouns: she/they
age: 18, 19 soon oh geez, where’d that time go…
location: United Kingdom! 🇬🇧
fun fact: I don’t know, I have autism and can be a little socially unaware at times.
hobbies/interests: I LOVE the animated band Gorillaz. (Not much of a listener anymore but still obsessed with the story and characters.) I love to drink tea and listen to loud, fast paced obnoxious sounding music (e.g, goreshit lapfox, femtanyl and machine girl. Not trying to act like my music taste is better or anything, I feel embarrassed about it sometimes).
Some of my comfort shows are Lucky star, Moral Orel and My little pony
dream job: To be able to create yt videos about things that I think are cool and want to yap about, whilst also doing art commissions on the side.
ART:
favorite medium: Digital I suppose, but due to my college courses I’ve been able to try out painting and I really enjoy it actually, it’s very relaxing. :)
favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): Mostly furries and animals atm, but I so desperately want to get into drawing humans, I can do okay human head shots but full bodies still need a lot of work…
favorite artists/inspiration: Oh geez idk, lmao. I’ve looked and consumed so much art over the years but idk if I have a favourite artist. I suppose my most general influences come from the animation meme community, cartoons like mlp, star vs the forces of evil and Pokemon.
favorite period of art: I don’t know yet, maybe Impressionism
piece you're the most proud of: Not sure, it changes
how long have you been creating: began as a young child, but haven’t been taking it too seriously since I was 16 I think, and even then I’m still pretty lax about creating art.
how did you learn: at first it was through the obvious, tracing, copying and following bare bones tutorials, but now I try to break things down using forms and stuff like that.
how long does it usually take you to make something: depends on the size of the project, usually a character illustration can take up to four hours, depending on the complexity.
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: Creating those animations i imagine in my head whilst listening to music ;-;
TAG:
Tag five people: I don’t know anyone here too well yet, plus I don’t want to bother anyone.
