this’ll be my seventh year!

my win ratio is terrible, the only years i’ve won have been bloom and stardust

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PAST THEME ON AF?

several of the themes i wasn’t even present for go pretty hard, like day vs night

WHAT TEAM / THEME ARE YOU HOPING FOR THIS YEAR?

i never get to this prior to the theme announcement, but im happy with them! the first 3 team split definitely caught me off guard in a good way

DO YOU DO:

Friendly fire? — yes, but these aren’t a priority for me. i’ll do them if there’s a revenge i want to do or a character i just can’t resist attacking
Revenges? — i try to! i’m definitely not a “revenge every single person that attacks me” kinda guy, but i do make the effort where im able
Chains? — no. i’ve only done it once with a friend

WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO SEE IN ATTACKS AGAINST YOU?

i love it when people draw my characters doing things i wouldn’t have really considered depicting myself. some of yall get so creative with your posing and such, im jealous!

ON A SCALE OF 1 - 10, HOW MUCH WILL YOU BE PARTICIPATING THIS YEAR?

i’m gonna try to shoot for an honest 8, but time will tell if that’s realistic for me

WHAT TEAM ARE YOU PICKING THIS YEAR?

after mulling it over for several days, i think ive landed on tragedy. for some reason every person i know is picking comedy or mystery?!

WHAT CHARACTERS DO YOU PRIORITIZE IN ATTACKS, IF ANY?

just anything that speaks to my specific tastes. also my friends ocs ofc. last year i tried to attack every person that had uploaded a character i designed and then sold as an adopt, but i didnt make it very far. that’ll be an objective for me this year as well

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE CHARACTER TO GET ATTACKS AGAINST?

honestly callyn and itka are my favorites ^^; of course i LOVE all the art i get every year, regardless of the character. but cal and itka are particularly special to me so those attacks really make my day

PAGE THEME?

my profile is still decked out with fossil decor because i haven’t sat down to redo it yet. they did finally add html coding to art fight which is nice, but im hesitant to try it out since ive heard its buggy (and what little editing i’ve done already has proven this to be true). i don’t intend to go extremely hard on the team theme for my profile this year, but we’ll see. if YOU are looking to get some decorating done, ive put together some resources again. you can find some af-friendly html codes here and some page decor here

GOALS FOR THIS YEAR?

getting my battle ratio up would be awesome. doing more attacks in general as well. last year i managed 9, which tbf to myself is a HUGE improvement over the year before that (only 4, yeesh), but i still like to think i could do better. i unfortunately had a bunch of unfinished attacks i never managed to get out. i just wanna draw more!!

but on like a personal growth level? playing around with composition, backgrounds, and even animation would be huge for me. i guess we’ll see!
