digital art OR traditional art?

i do mostly digital art, so i guess that. but i’ve been really meaning to get back into some kind of traditional medium again. i think pen sketches are really great for fast improvement

original concepts/characters OR fanart/canon characters?

i have a huge bias for original concepts ;; any fandom ocs that i make don’t tend to stay linked to their source material for very long.

i find it kind of hard to get involved with fandom spaces recently unless they’re media that i have a special attachment towards, and it’s rare for me to go out of my way to make fanart for media

original fiction OR fanfiction?

maybe original fiction? i don’t really read fanfic ^^;

sketch OR lineart?

well i don’t do lineart so i guess sketch haha

coloring OR shading?

coloring is the bane of my existence. shading

handwritten signature OR text signature?

text signature cuz then i can just copypaste that shit on every canvas. i get too picky with my own handwriting as it is

shrink canvas OR add a filter before posting?

is this in reference to like deterring art theft? neither…? 😭 oftentimes i even forget to watermark my stuff. if i’m gonna do either of these sometimes i’ll add a filter just for the effect

messy art OR clean art?

depends on what i’m in the mood for, what kind of vibe i’m after when i’m drawing. i guess clean? i tend to nitpick myself. id like to be able to get messier though

bright colors OR muted colors?

i have a preference for bright colors, clearly. i wanna get more comfortable using muted colors though.

warm colors OR cold colors?

graphics tablet with screen OR no screen?

well i’ve been drawing directly on the screen for 10 years, i think it’d be inhumane to force myself to switch now 😭

humans OR non-humans?

i have a heavy preference for my human ocs, which you wouldn’t guess by looking at this account. i love my animal critters but they’re just for funsies

depends on the style you’re going for i guess. idk. they’re both charming for different reasons im not sure i could pick

music OR podcasts while drawing?

music mostly. sometimes i have to switch it up and listen to a youtube video or something to keep myself from getting distracted but music inspires me the most
