A very important character from my personal story and one of the Great Lords of Mohannor. His name is Alzewyr and he made his empire expend its territory drastically. When other kinds threatened the Dark Mages and crossed the line, trying to invade their land (causing massive damages, murders, pillaging, etc.), Alzewyr retaliated violently and invaded the nearby territories in return. Nowadays, Alzewyr is still considered as a cruel opponent, even though he tried to spare as many lives as possible during the war he led. He's much loved by his people but considered as the one to beat by the enemies. The scar he has on the chest is proof of that and the result of a murder attempt against him.

Mohannor was created at the beginnings of time, blessed by powerful and magic beings before the age of the mortals and “domesticated” magic. A lot of survivors from past magic purges and a few chosen ones were greeted within this land in order to study pure magic and all its variations, even dark and other forbidden arts. Unlike the mages living within other civilizations (human, elf, etc.), they bound their whole existence to magic and embraced a state that changed their appearance and abilities forever.
