During the events of Twilight Princess, Zant usurped the throne and took power over his kind, making the Twilis suffer a lot more than we thought. However, some of them also fought against Zant's dictatorship.

While a part of the Twili were either imprisonned or changed, another part of the Twili people, which was still loyal to Princess Midna, organized some kind of resistance. They acted in the shadows and either left the mainland for more safety or hide well to rescue other unfortunate souls. One of those rebellious twilis was Etheru. She's one of the councellors who took care of the resistance with some others. She's a smart woman who relies a lot on her instinct... and her fists. :'D She can be pretty impressive and threatening when needed.

When things went back to normal and that Midna returned, Etheru came back to the council and became one of Yzei most feisty challengers... (and later much more XD).
