this is my plea to you: get an account on a website that cares about preserving and presenting your art in a way that is accessible and easily searchable. DA might not be specifically it for you, but get one. don't have your only account be twitter. i've lost track of dozens of artists whose stuff i really like because their only accounts were twitter, and tweets are IMPOSSIBLE to keep track of, so if they decide to move accounts to a new twitter or they abandon it, i'm not ever going to see that and they will disappear out of my mind forever.
using sites like DA or FA, which send out notifications to followers every time you upload art, helps people to Remember That You Exist And Are Posting. i been on the internet for 15 years. don't underestimate how important that can be, lol.
if you're like me and you hate posting to multiple websites because it takes too long, there are tools to help with that.
postybirb is a desktop tool which lets you simul-post art to like 30 different websites.
i also recommend not having your main art account be toyhouse, since that website doesn't have open registration.
and that's my final message: for the love of god, get a dedicated art gallery account.
peace and love. stay safe out there.
it was fun while it lasted.
