very excited to be uploading more and i've been going through all of my work on my ipad picking things out to upload! i've edited/added to my overall profile this morning, too. appreciating how friendly people have been towards me! thank you also to my new followers for your interest!
i would love to open commissions and find out if anyone here in this bustling, expanding art community would be interested in paid commissions, or art trades. i'll figure out pricing/terms for my commissions and get that posted asap.
i have a good feeling abt this place and i think something that unintentionally holds me back sometimes from making art is i just don't know where to put it once i've created it. over the years a variety of places i've posted my art haven't felt like a good fit for me, i did like deviantart many years ago but it changed so quickly and i stopped using it. that's just one example. i've always wanted a place where i feel good about putting my art in a public space, but i also want it to be a place where art thrives in general, and i'm sure you could guess what i'm about to say...
how am i supposed to feel like art thrives on late-stage capitalism's social media? i have no interest in posting art to x at all, or facebook. i'm ok w using instagram and posting art to my art acct there but it's not my favorite. i'm not crazy about it. i've always wanted a place that was easy to use, enjoyable to use, and focused on art and community... now i'm giving sheezy a try. (((:
i used to use deviantart consistently but that was many, many years ago and everybody knows it’s not the same anymore. it’s changed far too much and lost so much of its character and true uniqueness and greatest features/qualities. really hoping for the best here on sheezy for everyone involved; i’m so excited to share my art here and meet others 🖤
