i have a good feeling abt this place and i think something that unintentionally holds me back sometimes from making art is i just don't know where to put it once i've created it. over the years a variety of places i've posted my art haven't felt like a good fit for me, i did like deviantart many years ago but it changed so quickly and i stopped using it. that's just one example. i've always wanted a place where i feel good about putting my art in a public space, but i also want it to be a place where art thrives in general, and i'm sure you could guess what i'm about to say...
how am i supposed to feel like art thrives on late-stage capitalism's social media? i have no interest in posting art to x at all, or facebook. i'm ok w using instagram and posting art to my art acct there but it's not my favorite. i'm not crazy about it. i've always wanted a place that was easy to use, enjoyable to use, and focused on art and community... now i'm giving sheezy a try.
