I doomerposted about this in my IRL diary but i still have a lot to say tbh

Ngl, despite being in the little nightmares fandom ever since LN2 came out, i STILL haven't checked out little nightmares 3 yet. I have plans on watching jacksepticeye's lets play of the game, but tbh i'm kinda tired of lets players and the indie game community at the moment (in my last post i talked a lot about the fatphobia and misogyny in those circles) and like.....i know jack is generally a pretty good guy (that's why i watch his videos) but still, there's only so much screaming at video games one can take at a time. I know if i REALLY didn't want to watch jack's lets play i could always just buy the game and play it myself but like.....being so fucking fr right now i kinda don't want to do that either. I have a whole ass page dedicated to little nightmares on my neocities and i kinda NEED to experience the game one way or another so that i can update it to include information about it.

In part, it's kinda just because i hear a bunch of people saying little nightmares 3 is a bad game that sucks and i just keep on building it up like that in my head. I don't want to listen to those people and i try not to (i'm trying so fucking hard not to call them "normies" but like....i get the feeling that the people who say that shit are the same people who COMPLETELY ignore any and all nuance to six as a character and act like she's an irredeemable monster because of what she did at the end of LN2) but still.

I know it's just jitters, i get like this almost EVERYTIME i experience something new; i was like this when i was like, 9 with MLP flash games i hadn't played before, i was like this back when i was like, 12 when i first got tomodachi life for my 2DS, i was like this last year when i booted up deltarune on my switch to play the recent chapters and i was like like this a few months ago when i first played dead by daylight. I'm sure it's not as bad as i'm imagining, and besides....this wouldn't be the first time i liked something a lot of people hate (pokemon sword and shield, danganronpa, the kris x ralsei ship from deltarune, the six x mono ship from little nightmares, pineapple on pizza, etc)
