Had this lil' idea and decided to make a sketch of it

The lion here is Hoja ("opportunity"), former betrothed of princess Zawadi (daughter of Kamili, first queen of the Pridelands). While he seemed a dashing guy at first, she fell for someone else instead. Long story short, Hoja couldn't take "no" for an answer and plotted to attack with an army of his sons. However that plan was foiled when fate gave him a daughter instead.

The lioness is Chuki ("hatred"), Batini's daughter (a daughter of Bakari, Jiwe's son), and of very fiery nature when provoked. She usually keeps cool and casual, but if someone oversteps her boundaries, she's gonna reinforce them in a way that'll shut even the fiercest lion right up. Which is why, desppite usually ignoring a "no", Hoja doesn't argue about it with Chuki. He'd never admit it, and I'm not even sure he consciously knows why he doesn't press her on it. Chuki just gives off that vibe that tells you there won't be any further discussion.

Another long story short, Hoja won't see his daughter Shetani ("devil") growing much bigger than she is here. He's kind of a fool with how overly confident he is in his abilities at times.
