Second day using the drawing pad, now i wanted to try it on pixel art. It's definitely less convenient for this use case, especially considering how low the resolution is. I've been suggested it works best when the drawing has tons of curves, which wasn't the case here at all. 💀 I'll take it into account next time.

It wasn't that bad anyways, but I think I'd rather draw these using the mouse as always.

Anyways, speaking of the Taj Mahal, it's made out of white marble. So I wanted to draw it white at first. But yellow seemed like a more interesting choice, and I don't regret changing my mind!

I think the sky turned out really pretty. Maybe the blue color (2nd starting from the top) is a bit too saturated, but whatever.

I did 'cheat' a little bit, in that the real life pond has some fountains or something on top. I don't like how they look so I completely omitted them, because drawings aren't necessarily supposed to be exact copies of reality.

Instead, I decided to add some reflection on the water. I used an Overlay layer mode for that. I'm not gonna lie, I still don't really know how layer modes work xD but it looked great!

And I should stop yapping because these descriptions are becoming increasingly long lol
