Ink drawing of Viola, an anthropomorphic lioness, standing knee-deep in some kind of muck and scowling. She's seen in a three-quarter view, facing to the viewers' right, but her head is turned slightly toward the viewer as she glares at us from under her furrowed eyebrows. Her arms are straight, her hands balled into tight fists, and her stance wide.

She wears a simple tunic, and nondescript trousers. Around her waist, she has a leather belt with a couple pouches hanging from it. The end of the belt, maybe a foot in length, hangs straight downward from behind the buckle.

Her left arm is mostly hidden behind her body. Her right hand is missing some lines that were overlooked during inking, so that fist has a blob- or mitten-like appearance.

The background is mostly solid black, with a messy brush-stroke border. Around the level of Viola's fists, the background becomes a combination of drippy shapes and haphazard crosshatching as it transitions to the muck Viola is standing in. The tips of blades of grass poke above the surface of the muck.

The date 9/29 is seen in the bottom-right corner.

Boy I sure did like the word "muck" when writing that transcript, huh? Anyway this was supposed to be a warm-up but I liked it so much I kept going until it was more or less finished. Too bad about the inking errors.
