I'm just gonna get right into my FAVOURITE challenge month! I like it so much I'm having it span 2!
Yes, you heard that right, AnimApril has now become AnimMAYPRIL and will be running for TWO WHOLE MONTHS!! Which means YOU all get 2 glorious months to plan and execute your animated submissions for the amazing, wonderful, fantastic and OUT OF THIS WORLD
SHEEZY MONTHLY ART CHALLENGE 🎨
Unlike last year where the theme itself was to simply animate, this time you will be animating to a wonderfull theme to boot, per the suggestions of the last AnimApril but one thing remains a constant and will (probably) never change:
Remember, in order to participate you must use the #SheezAniMayPril25 tag on the post you wish to submit, and yes, I know it's quite the long tag this time around, but animation is also a long process so you get an extra long tag to represent :3

Your deadline is the 31st of May at - 11pm GMT
IMPORTANT SPECIAL CHALLENGE SUBMISSION INFORMATION!
Submission must be animated, but can be done in any medium you choose.
The animation must be AT LEAST 5 seconds in length
Submission can be a loop or linear
As per site rules you cannot use copyrighted music or sound within the animation.
Your prizes!
Participants will get a unique award on their submission relating to the challenge and theme.
And for this special event the winners will be getting:
- 1st Place: 1 YEAR of VIP
- 2nd Place: 1 YEAR of Pro
- 3rd Place: 1 YEAR of Basic

The artwork must be in the appropriate channel in the discord or have this month’s tag to be submitted.

No plagiarism, if you are found stealing and/or copying someone else's work you shall be disqualified and the art deleted.

As per the Discord rules, NSFW artworks cannot be posted there! NSFW artworks MUST remain on site and be tagged and rated appropriately.

I noticed there was some "off" month of not being challenge but mini fun or something like that. That made me thought of how fun it would be doing "Fan Zine" of Sheezy (Dante is welcomed as well if we have permission to doing that.) Something i think it'd be nice to get rolling after official released of Sheezy's site and couple of months-or a year to get more people able to participating this part!
Probably will editing this post again to add more idea as time go by before deadline of this journal!

I understand that we can submit 2 entries to the challenge, so my question is, can it be same work of entries or do it have to be completely different? Like the one im working on is basically rough/sketch, and frankly I really like rough/sketch in general, but I understand some people prefer to see it in clean version or color.
Not that I'm sure if i have time to do color version afterward, but can i submit same work twice in sketch vs color version or something like that?? Just curious really!
2 of the exact same entry arent necessarily allowed, that is to say identical entries, and I would only count it as one, HOWEVER if you upload the WIP and the finished piece as 2 separate entries that is perfectly fine and I would count it as 2 separate entries.
So in your example a sketch version and a fully rendered version would count as 2 separate entries if both have the tag :)

I want to know one thing about the 'planetary' theme. If we make smthing like ootb imaginary planets typa thing or smthng like resembling real existing planets bt not the one itself, will it still be complying with the rules here??
Both are completely allowed! Any way you want to interpret the promt as long as its in the ballpark is valid to me

I just want to mention it, I havnt really done anything animation other than only one time and very first animation doodle ( https://sheezy.art/takapawz/gallery/joshua-trumpet-gif Which, here you can see it!) and never got back into it LONG time until this challenge got me motivate to try doing it, so you can consider this as my first time attempting at animation as well!
So if you could I'd say go for it, and just have fun while youre at it!
