I did see a couple of December events, challenges and general community based art participation and I am so happy you all managed to keep yourselves entertained in my absence! Genuinely warms my heart during this snowy season..
To avoid further rambling (I have my own accounts and journals to do that with) let’s get a move onto what you are really here for
As always participation will require a certain tag every month, this time being #SheezJan26, you will need to place this on the post you wish to submit in order to get the chance to win our amazing prizes and get the nifty participation badge.

The artwork must be in the appropriate channel in the discord or have this month’s tag to be submitted.

No plagiarism, if you are found stealing and/or copying someone else's work you shall be disqualified and the art deleted.

As per the Discord rules, NSFW artworks cannot be posted there! NSFW artworks MUST remain on site and be tagged and rated appropriately.

Your submission must follow all of our rules and rating guides, both on site and on the discord.

Collaboration works are allowed! Just make sure you mention everyone involved.

Despite the fact I moved a month ago the movers are as slow as turtles at getting my stuff, mainly my PC, over to me.

Secondly, I think you answered my question, kind of, in someone else's comment, but I'll ask anyway. I hope you don't mind. Is fanart allowed? Like, fanart of lizard (or lizard-looking.) characters? If I like a certain character (either from a popular franchise or just a random artist I like, as long as it's a lizard) can I make fanart of it and participate? I do favor dedicating fanarts to the things I like. So I just wanted to make sure...
I've created my account a few months ago but I haven't posted anything yet and I'd really like for my first piece to be for a challenge or something here.
Fanarts are completely allowed!, any way you wish to interpret the prompt in that context is up to you, lizard like characters still fall under the "lizard" banner so to speak :)

OOOOH interesting prompt...
i might be overthinking this (lmao it is almost 6 AM in my timezone here /lh) but by "lizard," does it include any animal species that counts as "lizard" (like the ones listed in the Wikipedia page of lizards, which means including geckos and chameleons), or does it have to just be lizard-looking? 🤔
