Hola, my fiends and ghouls...
It's the SPOOKY season, and for this challenge we are bringing back our beloved and amazing
SHEEZTOBER! 👻
For this challenge there are no winners, only participants, this is a marathon not a sprint as we all know with all the ___Tober challenges that are around! I want everyone to focus on having fun and find the joy and whimsy in drawing and the fun of the season that seems to be losing to the xmas elves. It is a time for tricks and treats, for fear and fun and for art of all kinds.
As always participation will require a certain tag every month, this time being #SheezTober25, tag every piece you submit but remember only one entry per person per day!
This month's theme is:
SHEEZTOBER - THE DEVIL'S IN THE DETAILS 😈
Try to take these prompts and turn them into something SINISTER, as the subtitle says, some of these seem more innocent than others, but not all is as it seems...
Your deadline is the 31st of October - at 11:59pm or before midnight in your timezone!
Your prizes!
Participants will get a unique award on their submission relating to the challenge and theme. - This will be awarded on the 1st Tober piece you submit not all 31... as handing out awards is done manually and that would be too much for me TvT
There are NO WINNERS in SheezTober, only participants! Have fun and try to fill as many of the days as you can, I know it's difficult but I believe in you!
The Rules 📜:
-
The artwork must be in the appropriate channel in the discord or have this month’s tag to be submitted.
-
No plagiarism, if you are found stealing and/or copying someone else's work you shall be disqualified and the art deleted.
-
As per the Discord rules, NSFW artworks cannot be posted there! NSFW artworks MUST remain on site and be tagged and rated appropriately.
-
Your submission must follow all of our rules and rating guides, both on site and on the discord.
-
Be respectful to your fellow competitors.
-
Collaboration works are allowed! Just make sure you mention everyone involved.
-
You can submit a maximum of 1 entry per day.
-
Most importantly, enjoy what you create and have fun making it!
If you want input on what prompts we do in the future head on over to Prompt Suggestions on our discord or leave your suggestions in the comments of this post!
We did the monster mash, it was a graveyard... uh,, consensual hugging
KEEP ARTING!!
-Dax
You just need to add the tag #Sheeztober25 to the artwork(s) you want to be apart of the challenge :)

So like a new post art then add the tag to the description?
You add the tags in the tags section when uploading a new artwork, of if you already have one uploaded you can edit the artwork and add the tag in the custom tag section

Question, I'm not planning to do more than one prompt for a whole month, but do I need to post the exact prompt at the exact day or can I just upload it anytime?
For example, if I wanted to do the last prompt but upload it today, would it still count?

It would still count! I wanna be lax as I can on this one :3

genuine question: do i have to follow our own timezone, or do i need to follow Sheezy's official timezone?
(since i might mess up posting a submission for the challenge by posting it earlier than the "official" time day of the prompt, whoops /lh)
while i'm at it, i'm curious what timezone Sheezy uses as well 😅

⬦ tone tags are appreciated! ⬦
For this challenge you are free to use your own timezone, as for Sheezy’s usually we prefer using Ry’s timezone of GMT, but the staff are all in various timezones with some overlap. With Sheezy hosted in the UK too its fitting to use GMT for that reason LOL

aight, that's cool! thank you for the answers :D

am I disqualified for missing a day since I can only upload 1 submission per day? 🥺
There is no winners this challenge, its entirely up to you how many days you want to participate and what prompts, you will get the badge for participating even if you only did one day :)

🙈ohh I see, I was confused from the "You can submit a maximum of 1 entry per day." rule, what is that rule for if its alright to ask?
The rule is more to avoid spamming and to encourage people to pace themselves. There will also be people who wont draw as much as others, and I want everyone to also take their time to see how other artists interpreted the prompts, and for everyone to have a fair shot at their work being seen

ohh oke sorry sorry 🙈maybe i should pace myself since I'm already in a wrist brace even tho i draw with both hands 🙈 but I like drawing sdfsdf hahaha
